Helping us help you
If you're reporting a problem, including a few details up front usually saves a round trip:
- Your device and OS version — for example iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 26.1, or a MacBook Air M2 on macOS 26
- The state you're studying for
- Where in the app it happened — Practice, Traffic Signs, Flashcards, or the Exam Simulator
- A screenshot, if something looked wrong
- For purchase issues, the Apple receipt emailed to you at the time of purchase
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. EzDMV has no sign-up and no login — open the app and start studying. Your progress is stored on your device.
What's included in Premium?
Premium unlocks unlimited access to all lessons, the full question bank, the Exam Simulator, flashcards, and the illustrated traffic-signs handbook. It also removes ads from the app.
Premium is available weekly, monthly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
Does the lifetime purchase expire?
No. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — it doesn't renew and it doesn't run out.
I bought Premium but it's not showing up
Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID for an existing purchase and is the usual fix after reinstalling the app or moving to a new device.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. If it still doesn't appear, email us.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.
Note that deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — you have to cancel it in your Apple account settings.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under their refund policy, so we can't issue one directly. If you were charged in error or something isn't working as described, email us first — we'll do our best to sort it out.
Which states does EzDMV cover?
All 50 states. Questions and road rules are tailored to your state's licensing authority, whether that's the DMV, DDS, DOL, DOT, BMV, MVA, RMV, DOR, MVC, or MVD.
Are these the real DMV test questions?
No. EzDMV is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any Department of Motor Vehicles or government agency.
Our questions are written to closely resemble official exams, but the actual content, format, and requirements are set by your local licensing authority and can differ. Always confirm current requirements with your local DMV.
A question or answer looks wrong
Please tell us. Send the question text along with the state you're studying for and we'll review it — corrections from users are one of the main ways the question bank improves.
What data do you collect, and can you delete it?
We don't collect anything that identifies you personally — there's no account, and we never ask for your name, email, or location. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
If you'd like app-instance data deleted, email us and we'll handle it where feasible.
Which devices are supported?
EzDMV runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac:
- iPhone — requires iOS 26.0 or later
- iPad — requires iPadOS 26.0 or later
- Mac — requires macOS 26.0 or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later)
Your Premium purchase carries across all of them, as long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID.
